Why PRP works — and why it
beats corticosteroids

Platelet-rich plasma concentrates your patient's own platelets to 3–5x above baseline, delivering a supraphysiologic dose of growth factors (PDGF, VEGF, TGF-β, IGF-1) directly to the site of injury or degeneration. These growth factors drive all three phases of tissue repair: inflammation modulation, cellular proliferation, and tissue remodeling.

Corticosteroids reduce pain in the short term by suppressing inflammation — but they impair collagen synthesis, degrade cartilage over time, and provide no healing stimulus. Ultrasound introduction included

Basic MSK ultrasound — machine setup, probe handling, and image interpretation for key landmarks — is introduced in this course. It's not sufficient to call yourself an ultrasound-guided injector after one course, but it is enough to start building that skill deliberately.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation more than 30 days before the course: full refund minus a $150 administrative fee, or a full credit toward any future course. Cancellation 15–30 days before: 50% refund, or a full credit valid for 12 months. Cancellation 8–14 days before: no refund; a one-time transfer credit may be issued at our discretion for use within 6 months. Cancellation 7 days or fewer before the course: no refund and no credit. What if I need to reschedule?

Transfers requested more than 14 days before the course date are generally accommodated at no additional cost, subject to seat availability.
